Saturday Morning Ride

We have started a Saturday morning fun ride at 7:30 am. which is geared for beginners. We will ride as a group so no one feels left behind. We enjoy teaching safety skills and group riding skills. Mark Fetzer will be the primary ride leader. Ride distance will not exceed 20-25 miles at a speed of less than 14 mph.

Traffic Skills 101

June 12th - Learn safe and confident bicycling. Become familiar with laws covering bicycling as well as your bike equipment, including gears, fixing flats, injury prevention, crash avoidance, on-bike skills practice and top it off with a group ride. Classes recommended for adults and children over 14 years of age. Cost: $35, Contact Jodi Hohlstein, 904-282-2180, or email jodi@FBAfirstcoast.org for complete registration packet. Class is limited to 17 students.

Park Tool - "True" Tune-up class

This class is taught by Marc Coutu and is limited to 4 students. He covers the most basic maintenance precedures and assumes participants have no previous experience. Students bring their own bikes and will learn how to change a flat tire, adjust brakes, gears and bearing and do basic trouble shooting. 9th Annual Patriot's Ride

September 11th - Nease High School, St John's county, Registation is $20 and includes a T-shirt. This memorial ride starts at 6:45 and has a distance of 91.9Km. For registation go to: http://www.active.com/event_detail.cfm?event_id=1869155.

Swampman Ride

September 18th - This has been moved to Saturday. The ride will also start and finnish at the YMCA in McClenny.

Jacksonville Bicycle Casino

Saturday November 20th - Jacksonville end of the Jacksonville-Baldwin Rail Trail, A bicycle show for all things human powered. Bring your bike to show or to go.
